Jazz Piano Tips

JPT1 screen shot
I’ve just started a new video series on YouTube. It’s called Jazz Piano Tips and each Monday I’ll post another tip.

Today’s video shows you how you can use the techniques you already know how to play in order to become a fluent jazz pianist. Once you can play jazz tunes easily and fluently, then you’ll be in a much better position to begin learning more “advanced” techniques. Most aspiring jazz pianists make the mistake of starting out trying to learn the advanced stuff, and they never get anywhere.

Watch the video to see how great the “easy” stuff can sound!

Jazz Piano Tip #1

PS – Make sure you follow my advice on the video and apply a simple technique like I demonstrate to a whole bunch of tunes. Have fun!
