Have a musical Father’s Day!

It’s Father’s Day here in the US, and I thought I’d share my favorite jazz “father’s” tune. It’s “Armando’s Rhumba,” composed by Chick Corea in honor of his father, Armando Corea, who taught music to the young Chick and wrote out arrangements of jazz tunes for him to play.

And here’s me playing it as a piano solo, at a concert at New York City’s St. Peter’s church, home of the famous Jazz Vespers services.
