My own jazz piano teacher, Dr. Billy Taylor, used to tell me that “we learn jazz the way we learn language.” This concept made all the difference for me personally and I’ve spent years developing a way of teaching that will help you learn to sit down at your piano and play with a new sense of fluency and joy.
Whether you’re just beginning to explore the wonderful world of jazz piano or are already at the intermediate/advanced levels, I’ll give you full personal support and inspiring challenges, with musical concepts and techniques that I’ve used at Carnegie Hall, on Broadway, and NYC’s Blue Note jazz club.
