Learn to play piano stylings from the Great American Songbook
Hi, I’m Ron Drotos. If you’re like me, you love the great songs of Gershwin, Cole Porter, and the other composers who wrote for what is now called The Great American Songbook! In fact, one of the highlights of my career was helping create the Tony-award nominated Broadway show “Swinging On A Star” which included many of these wonderful songs.
- My Great American Songbook video lessons are well-sequenced to show you how to gain a complete melodic and harmonic understanding of a song.
- You’ll learn how to play standard songs in any style you prefer, such as swing, ballad, and rhumba styles. Combined with my jazz lessons, you’ll become able to sit down at any piano and improvise music effortlessly!
- All the video lessons are easy to follow and have sheet music included. My students make remarkable progress because I’m always available to answer questions and give personal guidance.
“I am especially impressed by the way Ron cares about his students, and takes an interest in their progress.” Bill S.
